FLOOD
Rothert Insurance offers both NFIP and private flood markets for your residential and nonresidential flood needs. Our private flood market, Hiscox Flood Plus, offers additional coverages for single family homes (excluding mobile homes) such as other structures and loss of use. They also offer higher coverage limits than the NFIP. Up to $1Mil in building coverage and $500,000 in contents. There is only a 7 day waiting period (as opposed to the NFIP required 30) so you get coverage faster.
For nonresidential risks we have a private market called Voyager. Voyager will offer up to $1mil in building coverage and you can place multiple buildings on one policy. Also available through Voyager is FlexCash. FlexCash was created to assist policyholders in the event of a loss by providing funds for uncovered expenses. Provide a photo proving flood damage has occurred and Voyager with send you a VISA gift card to spend however you see fit. FlexCash starts at $1,000 in relief funds and goes all the way up to $10,000.
If those aren't good fits for your risk, we also offer excess flood coverage on top of an already existing NFIP policy for single family homes. Excess coverage can go as high as $3.5mil over the maximum NFIP rates.
